Video from the repair of the Trakia highway from the Stara Zagora road junction at km 208 to the Chirpan road junction at km 184.

Both lanes of the highway in the section of 23 km from the Trakia Motorway between Chirpan and Stara Zagora are closed. The renovation is expected to be completed at the beginning of the summer tourist season.

Travelers from Bourgas to Sofia deviate at the road junction "Stara Zagora" of the highway "Trakia" on road I-5 to the road junction "Stara Zagora - Kolyo Ganchev". From there on road II-66 will continue to the road junction "Chirpan - East "to get back on the Trakia Motorway.

The construction activities are part of the gradual repair of a total of 52 km from the Trakia highway / from 156th to 208th km /, which started in October last year. For several years, due to the folded road and the deep tracks, the speed in the section is limited to 90 km / h. The problem section was built in the period 2003 - 2007 by "Joint Venture Ranaway" AD with contractor "PIC" Stara Zagora for BGN 104.7 million with VAT.
